Balmy Blue

This weather is playing games with my emotions. Summer-like warm one day, winter chill the next. Stop playing games!!!!
It was a gorgeous gorgeous day...i met up and had lunch with a few friends that had been a little neglected because of my ridic schedule, I even met up with fellow blogger "NakedSha" who is such a sweetheart.
All in all , i say a great day!
By the way, Today March 26th is my birthday! You know my outfits posts are delayed by a day, so pics of my birthday celebrations, and numerous wardrobe changes to come.

Blue October!

I brought out my winter coat and added yet another dress to my growing collection of dresses.I haven't had a chance to alter this dress yet, but thanks to the big belt and some clever tucking, i was able to update the dress to my liking.I knew I needed to add some edge to the dress without removing its ladylike element because in its original state, it was mid-calf length. And combining the original length and dramatic billowy sleeves, would have created a very outdated look. I purposely left it slightly longer in the back, and i like how it turned out.

Twirlin'

A HUGE thank you to those of you who came to my rescue by sharing your thoughts on the college major issue. I can't express to you all how much i appreciate it.
As always, when i find something i like, i can't help but wear it every chance i get. Kinda like a kid who just found a new favorite toy. My new "toy" is my little blue dress. Its such a gorgeous color and i feel like twirling each and every time i put it on.
I wore the dress with heels on sunday and on monday, i threw my floral short-sleeved blazer over it (to make it more office appropriate) and my floral flats and wore it to work.
And yes, i do realize i just wore the same dress 2 days in a row, but i really love it.

Bright Blue Skies

I wore this lovely blue dress today to match the sun filled day with a side of bright blue skies, that was Sunday. It warmed up to the 40's and after the bone chilling weather we've had, i had to break out a dress. This dress is thrifted and and i had to alter its length because it came down to the nether region that exists past the knees and right before the ankles.

Rainy Vibrance

Rainy Days!
Rain, Rain go away, come again another day,

Its pouring outside, and thankfully, i anticipated it and dressed for the weather(kinda). So once again, i had something planned, and then last night, i changed my mind.(kinda makes you wonder why i keep "planning" doesn't it). i changed my outfit into something a bit more interesting and vibrant!! to help me beat the dreary, rainy day ahead. It's worked so far! I love this blue...definitely intense, and improves my mood...i was kinda iffy about wearing my scarf to work, but since i'd lent my sister my umbrellla ; after class on my way to my car, i was completely drenched. So, i decided to wear the scarf to work as well...it went over pretty well being that its a pretty casual evironment, so as long as we donot wear jeans mon-thurs, we're usually ok.
