Warm weather where are you???
I'm tired of layering and layering some more to keep warm. I seem to have run out of steam... maybe its the weather, or school or never feeling like I've slept enough or maybe i'm just ready for spring break....its probably a combination of all of those things.
Anyway, I've decided that since i'm eagerly anticipating the arrival of spring's warmth,I've decided to just start getting myself ready for spring, regardless of the weather. I've started by unpacking my shorts and decided to wear this pair since they haven't graced the blog yet.

When i left home, i was immediately reminded that as much as i wanted it to be springtime, its still winter.... Thankfully, i did warm up after a few minutes of jumping...

Sweater- Poof excellence, shorts- oldnavy, tights and bag-target, coat- urban outfitters
I'm debuting my plaid paper boy hat that i've been living in over the past few days. I was supposed to be dashing in and out from Target while running errands and happened to pass by the men's section where i saw men's hats... i tried a couple on, just for laughs while goofing off with my sister and fell in love with this one.
Its crazy how you find things especially when your not looking. And that is reason #158 why i love Target(said in my best "french" accent...Tar-jay)lol

Hat and bag-Target, Jeans- Dots, T-shirt- F21..i think, Coat-Urban Outfitters, Scarf-Gift
I hope everyone (more so my U.S readers) had a safe and fun Thanksgiving Holiday. Its the day after Thanksgiving and my heart is light but the rest of me is not. I definitely ate alot, and danced my heart out so i am incredibly tired this morning. So i definitely needed an outfit that was little to no fuss and very comfy. Thankfully, the weather was just right so i've been able to get away with the shrug as my only covering for most of the day.

Dress- Old Navy, Shrug- F21, Boots- UrbanOg
Today i had my interview for volunteering with Dress for Success. I was supposed to only have my interview and orientation today, but i was eager to jump right in, so i ended up beginning my volunteering endeavors today. I served as a personal shopper ( i picked it because it sounded right up my alley), and basically i helped the ladies pick out the outfits they needed. It was actually fun, but of course as with everything, there's always that one person who tries your patience, but apart from that it was great.
Now for my outfit. The sun simply would not come out today so i kinda echoed the weather by dressing kinda dark. I'm thinking of investing in some more colors of this hat for the remainder of winter. It kept my head warm and i didn't have to worry about the wind whipping my hair about, i love cute and functional things.
This is what i wore:
Coat (F21)
Shirt (Urban Behaviour)
Jeans (Macys)
Hat(H&M)
Brooch (Thrifted)
Bag(Target)
