Every woman should have something dotted in their closets. And that's all I'm saying about that.

There's a quirky charm in polka dots that i kinda dig which is why it didn't take me long to decided on whether or not i needed another polka dotted skirt among other things from H & M. I broke down and decided to get it because everyone needs a polka dotted skirt right?
I kept the outfit super simple because, i wanted the polka dots to pop during their first exposure. I definitely can't wait to play around with this skirt in the coming months.

Blouse and Skirt- H&M, Shoes- Miss Me
The last time i wore this skirt, i took part in an outfit challenge that required me to come up with different ways to wear a skirt. I ended up choosing a skirt my younger sister bought me on a whim (she actually said,"i knew you'd either love it or hate it immediately) and thankfully, i ended up LOVING it. I chose this skirt because I figured it would be a bit of a challenge to wear often as it had such an eye-catching pattern. These were the looks i created for the challenge.

Outfit 1: wore it as a skirt Outfits 2 and Outfit 3: skirt is worn as a top

This is how i wore it on wednesday. For a bit of a different look, i went w/ a navy blue button down this time. (As you can see, i love items that i can switch up and wear 1000 times....)

Hope you guys have a fantastic weekend!
I'm sure most of you have been on the edge of your seats wondering what i had planned for the last day of the 1 skirt, 3 ways challenge. I had a variety of errands to run so i knew this look had to be very comfortable and easy. Thankfully, its finally warmed up enough so i decided to bare my legs for the day. I'm really looking forward to the warmth of spring's arrival, can't wait to remove tights from my daily attire.

Its my first week back to school after spring break and a part of me is excited because i know that we're basically halfway thru the semester. A bigger part is dreading that familiar but dreaded time at the end, when things get hectic as i make sure i maintain my grades and study for upcoming exams. In the meantime, i'm just trying to stay focused. Still i can't help but think that homework, projects and exams are ruining my college experience... i joke. No one ever tells you that is part of the college experience.
For the second day of the challenge, i could not resist wearing the skirt as what else, but a shirt, tucked in loosely into another skirt, and topped off with my jacket. The manfriend said i looked "dainty with an edge" , what do you guys think?

This is my first Wardrobe Challenge and it's being hosted by the lovely Jane of Work That Wardrobe .Ever promise yourself not to spend money on new clothes? Well this very strong-willed lady has committed to that for almost a year, and is doing it stylishly well.
The challenge is self-explanatory: wear one skirt, 3 different ways. I picked this skirt because its one of my favorites and its been hanging on the back of my door for almost a month. Plus, when i received this skirt, i knew i was going to play with it to come up with a variety of looks. I started off fairly simply, with the dots on my skirt and the blue belt serving as the focal points for this ensemble.

My very brilliant sister who knows me too well, bought me this beautiful colorful skirt for Christmas. I think this the most cheerful skirt i own. Even on a dreary day like today was, i felt fantastic in this simple but fun dotted skirt.
