Colors of the Wind

Its my busiest day and last day of classes before Thanksgiving break and i can't deny my excitement because i really love the holiday season. I've even started my christmas shopping. My chunky knit sweater, is one that i "borrowed" from my mom's closet.

Heavily Sequined

This past weekend was ridiculously fun. And the unusually warm and gorgeous weather was just icing on the cake because it allowed me to be tightless for a few days. In case you missed rhe previous post, i took out the braids to let my hair just be for a bit. i've missed playing in my afro(which i've named Tari)lol. Today also seemed like the right day to pull out another sequined favorite, and i paired it with a skirt because it was actually too hot for me to wear pants. Crazy!

Official Last day of Warm Weather

According to the weather woman this morning, today is the last day of warmth for the year. As in come tomorrow, we are going to have to wear sweaters, and bundle up from now on. At last, the anticipated fall weather will arrive. What did that mean to me? I interpreted it to mean that i was to wear my little bitty skirt at least once more this year, before having to give it up for the fall and winter. Ok probably not, i'll most likely just wear it w/ tights when it gets cooler. i have this weird thing for most things short...This is what i wore for school today:

Sunday Pt 2: Study Style

After church, I had to meet up w/ a new classmate to study for our CIS class. I wore my boys'blazer that i've had for a while, for some reason never wore it. Along w/ my "birds in love" necklace.

Run Around Thursdays

White Shirts are the staples of my closet. I think i have 2 white shirts for every colored or patternd shirt. These are my lovely run around boots.Oh so comfortable and so versatile. They fold down to my ankles, as well as up and out to my knees. And of course, my new favorite scarf, for my splash of color. I had an exam in my CIS class today, and went to career fair as well. Don't worry, this is not what i wore to the job expo. I did keep the outfit basic so that i could easily trade the skirt and boots for a pair of slacks and pumps.
