Beautiful Sunshine

The sun is shining brightly,there is a cool breeze in the air,well at least in the shade. In the summertime, that's pretty much all it takes for me to want to skip work and spend the day frolicking around the city with my gang(usually the manfriend and my siblings).But going to work doesn't seem so bad when you have a really fun floral ruffle shirt and new shoes to go in. Seriously, try it. And i know i'm a little late, and aviators are a little awkward(i actually thought they were ugly) but they're growing on me. Hope everyone has a fantastic week!

Full Skirts

2 exams down, 1 to go. As is usual with my exam day routine, i dressed for success by wearing a skirt, this time paired with the most ladylike spring trenchcoat. I can tell this is one of those pieces that i'll be wearing till its in bits and pieces . I like the combination of blue and peach-orange and i'm resolving to finding more ways to wear this skirt. I'm going back into my tent in the library to study for my accounting exams now...Hope everyone's week is going fantastically!! And i turn 21 tomorrow....Yeeeeaaaahhy!!!

Intense Orange

I am trying to wear all the skirts in my closet before i have to layer them with tights come the coolness of fall and winter. This orange skirt is quite intense on the eyes, so i tried to keep from blinding and overwhelming my coworkers with the colors by pairing it with a cream colored shirt. I really like this shirt for the details on it. It has cute leafy cut-outs that charmed me into getting it when i saw it at Macys. The skirt has quite a slit in the front and it was cute when i tried it on, but at work, i felt like i would flash everyone. So even though i had on little shorts underneath (that's just the sort of chick i am) i was chained to my desk all day. I completed the look with cream-colored pumps and a brown satchel and a gold link for a muted elegance...lol. in my opinion.
