I've had this skirt for ages and i wear it often enough but i realized that it somehow, never got posted on the blog. Even though the skirt is mostly navy, i've paired it with a black AA dress that i got before my shopping hiatus.
I suddenly have all this time before work( with school being out) that i don't even know what to do with myself now. Which why i had time to untangle the mass of necklaces around my neck which i borrowed *cough stole* from my sister this morning.
Also... i absolutely love thigh/knee highs..

Gahh!! Its nearing the end of the semester, so exams are aplenty! Had a final exam at the bright and early hour of 8am this morning. I opted for one of my favorite floral dresses and layered it with a longsleeved top and a knit sweater that isn't pictured. And wore the ankle boots that i seem to be living in this season.

I have finally come to accept that fall is finally here, and that summer is no more. This was my farewell to summer outfit. And yes, i am aware that i seem to find random themes to dress up for and i'm ok with that. It was a gorgeous day, and i knew it would be one of the last days that i'd be able to just seat outside and engage in one of my all-time favorite activities...reading. So i packed up some of my favorite books from my younger days and headed to the park, where i reread my favorite portions of books i love, and day-dreamed the afternoon away.

Since i rep Nigeria hard, all day everyday, i decided to just keep it simple. My men's button-down shirt was simple and had green and white which was my only requirement. I also got new ankle boots from charlotte russe and i have to say, they're mostly comfortable...They definitely not meant for walking for extended periods of time (i found that out the hard and painful way). My favorite part of this whole outfit..my knee/thigh high socks..LOVE. They keep legs warm without the fuss of tights/pantyhose..

Once again, title....completely unrelated, its another Goapele song that's stuck. Today was truly a gorgeous day outside. It was sunny and the air was crisp although a little nippy in the morning. I'm taking time to appreciate and enjoy the gradual changes in the weather and everything else that's a blessing in my life. I was kinda bummed out earlier this week...nothing in particular just felt glum. But thank God for the wonderful ppl who are around me, who keep me smiling and i'm glad to say i'm feeling much much better. Thanks for listening P.
Go here to see how i wore this dress last time. I thought it was time to show off this dress in its entirety. Of course i picked a chilly day, so i paired it with thigh high socks and boots and my trench and headed out the door.
