This outfit is really basic but my excuse is that coldness does something to me... Seriously, how else do i explain oversleeping and missing my first class this morning?
I had to break out this jacket again because its just that cold today. Plus, i secretly relish the chance to glide around in it as i'll have to give it up in a few days. I thought long and hard as to where i'd be taking my pictures today. I finallly decided to do them outside...even though its super cold. And dreary. And snow flurries too. Ahh the things i do for you guys :-)
However, as hard as it is posing for pics, the unsung hero is the Manfriend. Ever the gentleman, he's never complained about taking my pics. Even on ridiculously cold days like today....Gotta luv him!

Wearing Thrifted Coat, Poof Excellence sweater, f21 t-shirt and skinnies. Boots-gojane and necklace-gift from Kim :-)

Bright colors rejuvenate me. So its easy to see why i'm easily inspired by flowers. In the language of flowers, the yellow daffodil means happiness for just being, and is also known as the most sincere flower. So, if you are a little shy, buy a daffodil bouquet and offer and supposedly, your suitor will know from the start how sincere your feelings are.

Helen,Ga is located in northeast Georgia and is a charming recreation of an alpine, Bavarian village, complete with cobblestone alleys and old-stone buildings. Its very picturesque and was quite fun to explore. Plus, it was really fun to imagine that i was somewhere in Germany, instead of Georgia.

Next we headed off to Georgia's highest point aka, Brasstown Bald. It's located just outside of Helen. And its where i conquered my mild fear of heights by seating atop the ledge at the observation deck. The view here was absolutely amazing. Its said that on clear days, the spectacular 360-degree view from atop the mountain allows you to see four states, Georgia, Tennessee, North Carolina, and South Carolina. Being the blind bat that i am, i cannot atest to this.

Duke Creek Falls is another of nature's majestic wonders nestled just outside of Helen. We drove on the Scenic Byway which is a 38 mile scenic journey of nature at its best, to get there. Ideal for those who love to drive on winding roads. I actually would not recommend this trail for anyone with small children. It was quite a long, long walk to get to see the falls (at least to me). Instead, i 'd recommend the Anna Ruby Falls, which we ended up not visiting due to some construction going on there for the next month or so.
Here's a little something for those who'd wanted to meet the man behind my pics...The Manfriend!!

Its the second day of my spring break, and i'll be spending it slaving away at work. Ha! Ok, maybe "slaving away" is a bit much.
I 'm really looking forward to tomorrow. That's when the adventures begins. For the remainder of the week, i'll be taking a series of daytrips and exploring Georgia. For anyone familiar with the Georgia area, i'm open to suggestions and willing to drive up to two hours (and not a minute more).
One of the comments yestersday asked if i wear my "creations" . I hope this answers your question :-)

I'm officially on spring break and i wish i could be playing on the sandy beaches of a beautiful tropical island like Barbados. Or strolling thru the streets of Paris, exploring the foods and then hunting for treasures at some famous street markets. Or maybe exploring the italian countryside by visiting a charming italian village that steals my heart from the moment of my arrival. Or even returning home to my native country of Nigeria for a very, very, very short visit by our standards since i only have a week off for spring break ( its usually upwards of 3wks of stay when returning home after being away for a long period of time).
Instead, i will be at home. Since I have not been gifted with the opportunity to do any of the afore mentioned things, i will spend my spring break, catching up on lost sleep, side projects and exploring Georgia.
No outfit pic today, because i plan on studying all day. In my pajamas...not much excitement and definitely not picture worthy. So instead, i'm sharing a project i did this morning. It should be included in the Lazy Girl's Guide To Jewelry Making Because it takes all of 2 minutes to make.

For those interested:
Materials:
*Glasses cords/string (i got mine @ cvs, but i think they can be found at all corner drugstores next to the glasses)
*Thick Chain Link (its actually a purse handle and i got it a craft supply store ie: Michaels, Joanna, etc)
Procedure:
Step 1: Attach one end of the link to one end of your cord.
Step 2: Repeat step one to the remaining unattached ends of link and cord.
And boom!!!

Pics are all me!!!
