This is what i wore to school. As you can see, i'm glistening not sweating from the ridiculous heat (because ladies don't sweat). After the photoshoot, my graceful photographer(my sis) and i stopped for yogurt and toffee, which was surprisingly good. Surprising to me because i'm a complete and total chocoholic, and usually don't like any flavors except chocolate(read: i'm a complete and total chocoholic).

Due to a disease called procrastination, i ended up waiting till the very last minute to run my errands for Fathers' Day. Thankfully, in the midst of all the errand running, we found time to take a few pics. If anyone knows the cure for this terrible disease called procrastination, don't hesistate to share.
Happy Father's Day to fathers everywhere.
I'm off to practice the dance to a song i wrote for my father when i was 7 so i can perform it for him and other members of my fam after brunch .
It starts off:
Daddy,you're such a superstar...(2x)
*feel free to borrow it and add your own lyrics and give it to your dad(just don't say i never gave you anything )*

Happy Mondays Everyone!
The weather around here has been gorgeous (upwards of 60 degrees=YES!) so of course i found a skirt to match the weather. Once again i'm spicing up Black Mondays, this time with this funky fuschia tuxedo-like blouse and simple pleated skirt.

Literally. I’m trying to stay on top of 3 pending midterms, one tomorrow, Saturday (Boo!! Hiss!!) and the remaining 2 will be within the next 2 days; and i'm trying to stay atop of this random pedestal that I’ve always wanted to climb on top of. There's supposed to be really nice(read: spring-like) weather this weekend, but it seems i'm to spend it cooped up inside studing. I suppose i could try to study outside, but i've tried that before and ended up in a cartwheels competition with my sisters. I'm quite easily distracted whenever i'm supposed to be studying.

I hope everyone (who celebrates) had a wonderful Thanksgiving! I ate probably a little too much, i drank, i laughed and i can't think of a better way to spend my thanksgiving hollies.
This morning, I had plans to join the rest of the masses in hunting down Black Friday deals early in the morning before heading, but i overslept and missed pretty much all the early bird specials (lots of good food will do that you). But i did stop by Forever 21 on my way to work. I was able to snag a few really cool items...and a few sale items that i can't find on their website to put up. For anyone who's interested, there's a buy one get one free deal on sale items but i don't know how long that'll last.
I'm dressed to be able to easily take off layers and try on clothes, but i needed to still look, put together for work as well. This is what i wore:
Sweater(Goodys)
Black Top (Macys)
Jeans (F21)
Heels (Rugged)
Bag (Target)

Since i've spent the past couple of days in so such bright colors, i decided to tone it down, just a bit today...or at least localize the color and keep it simple for today. Plus, i had a presentation to do toay, and i needed people to focus on what i was presenting, not what i was wearing. And yes, i know i've worn these boots out this week, but they are soooo comfortable!!
Here's what i wore:
Embroided Tunic(F21)
Jeans (Macys)
Boots (Chinese Laundry)

I have this compulsion to dress inappropriately at the most random times. Take today, when the weather girl said, " Today is the day to bundle up because we're only going to be in the 30's and maybe touch 40 degrees today" , i looked into my closet and the only thing i wanted to wear was a dress. I tried on a couple of "warmer" outfits...meaning pants, and nothing looked or felt right. So i was left with my desired outfit, the dress. Click here for how i wore it the last time.
Anyway, since i was decidely choosing to freeze my legs off by wearing a dress, I took Sheila's awesomely timed and effective advice and doubled up on my hosiery. Yes folks, i'm wearing 2 tights. Even though you can't tell, i'm wearing black tights underneath the red one, and you know what, it worked! I stayed pretty warm, considering i'm not wearing any pants..
And yes, you are looking at a gray version of my brown purse, unfortunately the brown purse was a bit mistreated, what with being my school bag, work bag...everything bag. It was too much pressure and it couldn't take it anymore (the straps broke), and quit on me, so it had to be replaced. I promise to be gentler with this new gray bag, whom i've named grayson, for its gray color.
This is what i wore:
Dress( Apparel-found @ a thrift store)
Red Sweater ( Macys)
Scarf (Thrifted)
Red Tights (Target)
Coat (Urban Behaviour)
Hat (H& M)
Boots (chinese laundry)
