I hope everyone (more so my U.S readers) had a safe and fun Thanksgiving Holiday. Its the day after Thanksgiving and my heart is light but the rest of me is not. I definitely ate alot, and danced my heart out so i am incredibly tired this morning. So i definitely needed an outfit that was little to no fuss and very comfy. Thankfully, the weather was just right so i've been able to get away with the shrug as my only covering for most of the day.

Dress- Old Navy, Shrug- F21, Boots- UrbanOg
This is one of my favorite outfits because of so many reasons.Like the easy layering, my favorite(and only)shrug and my favorite jacket and favorite ankle boots. With so many favorite articles in one outfit, how can i not love it. Exactly, its practically impossible. The theme of the day was layered comfortability. Perfect for an easy but cold day going to school, running a few errands, grabbing dinner and a movie with my sisters.

This weekend, I wore this outfit out to dinner with one of my closest friends (shout out to Nettie May.lol) We had a fantastic time playing catch up. Yummy dinner, fruitie drinks and old friends, make for very good times. Because that's what friends are forrrr. School resumes this upcoming week. I still get the nervous/excited feeling that i got in first grade when i think about school starting in the fall.I thought it'd go away as i got older. It hasn't.

I hope everyone had a fantastic 4th. I had one of the best weekends ever, spent w/ the Manfriend and my family. Fireworks make me so giddy with excitement, its kind of ridiculous. Food, Family and a throng of people you don't know is always the recipe for an interesting time.
After such a fun weekend, its a bit hard to go back to the regular routine. So I'm having one of those days when NOTHING looks right or feels right and i just want to crawl under my covers and watch movies. Not even my fail safe dresses looked right today. So i fell back on two things that usually make me feel better, clothes that multitask and skirts w/ pockets. My ruffled shirt is simply this ruffled tunic dress tucked into a skirt. If only there were fireworks or something to distract me.lol.Hope you guys are off to a better start.
Happy Monday!

Dress(worn as shirt)-target, Skirt and belt- thrifted, Shoes- Hypnotic, Clutch: Couture Collection
I got carried away with the package i received and played dress up into the night. Something i hadn't done in a while, hence the enticing allure. Ironically, i didn't bother to plan daily outfits, instead i planned outfits for impromptu dinner dates and picnics. Frivolous yes, but if randomly, i get a call from friends about spontaneous spring outings, I know exactly what i'm wearing.
Low on sleep and time this morning, this dress is the next best thing to pajamas. My necklace is a custom made dog-tag necklace from the Manfriend.

Happy Thursday!!
I have such a love-hate relationship with thursdays! The good: I got to see a lot of my friends today, and i accomplished a lot as well. The not-so-good-but-not-necessarily-bad: a majority of my day was spent in the library, huddled and hunched over books, in effort to study for my exam, so today's post is going to be short and sweet like my outfit...hehe.
This is what i wore:
Gray Dress (Old Navy)
Blue Tights (Target)
Black boots (Chinese Laundry)
Black Jacket (Papaya)
Scarf (Target)
