Designer Spotlight: Ohema Ohene

British born designer Abenaa Pokuaa created Ohema Ohene,a boutique fashion brand, "meaning ‘Queen & King’ in the Ghanaian language of Twi was a play on her Ghanaian heritage and her love for all things royal and fabulous", and she sounds like a girl after my own heart.
She seems to love vibrant colors, but knows how to make a statement with muted tones. The pieces from the boutique, as well as the Spring 2010 collection, are definitely fun and trendy. They range from bandeau dresses to mini skirts and even jumpsuits. What truly caught my attention though, were the shoes.You guys have to check out the fresh prints on these sneakers.
