Friday: Gold and Maroon

Something about wearing my manfriend's shirt, or my mother's skirt, or my sister's jacket; reinventing the pieces that they love, and adding a bit of my story to the mix inspires me. I like being able to say, "this was my mother's bracelet and she gave it to me out of love"... yes, i'm a big softie.
Its still dark and rainy today and I'm missing the sun's rays.As you may have guessed the name of the game is staying warm. The sweater belonged to my mother and i 've simply layered it with a blazer. And gold necklaces and bracelets and my metallic shoes. I quite like the maroonish color and gold detailed buttons on it.
This is what i wore:
Blazer (thrifted from boys section)
Sweater("borrowed" from my mom)
White Shirt( F21)
Jeans (F21)
Shoes(Rugged)

Photocredits go to my fantastically sweet and always positive Manfriend!

I love how you took classic pieces and then made them contemporary w/the shoes -- the colors are very good together. Nice :)

Very cute! I like the sweater and the masculine details contrasted with your fierce shoes!
