Lavender and Foliage

The beautiful fall foliage coupled with lovely weather made me want to run outside and play in the leaves. However, i had lots to do, so instead i took a quick walk with my youngest sis and and it was off to the books for me.

You look fantastic! The scarf is wonderful and you can never go wrong with purple.

P.S. Any secrets to getting the scarf to stay on your head? I have attempted this before with absoluately no luck!

I like the way you layered the long-sleeved top under the three-quarter-sleeved jacket. :D

Kimberly: Thanks! Some may the scarf could be resting securely because of my unusually large head...hehe. Ok,i simply placed this where i wanted it to be and it just stayed. Now for my "slipperier" scarves, i usually use bobby-pins, either in the back where i tie it or right above my ears to make sure they stay in place. Let me know if that helps.

Andrea: Thank you!!

Super cute! I need to get down with the scarf of my head. I think that look is so cute. I can never get that cute knot in the back. I think you'll have to give me a play-by-play :)

Love the scarf! This outfit is so adorable. I have a white coat like that...I'll have to wear it again on a non-rainy day.

Skinny pants are such a great look for you...agreed on the scarf tying instructions. I'm also jealous of the foliage...Texas trees turn from green to dead.

April: Thank you!I think you've inspired my first ever tutorial...yay!! i'm working on it.

Sheila:Thanks! When i bought the jacket, i had so many great ideas for the lighter seasons but not as it gets much colder. so wear yours, i may have to borrow your ideas...

Erica: Thank you..its hilarious that you say that because it took me a really long time to jump on the skinny jean bandwagon. And lmao...from green to dead!!
